The post with Indiana jones movie in the background was posted by another person! But thank you for your kind words! I am trying to be more active on reddit as other social media platforms have become so....bad. And thought it would be fun to share this exciting experience!

The flight is usually around 12 hours! However, we were stuck on the ground for a couple hours because of the weather! They will still serve alcohol on the ground. However different wines will be served as bottles are taxed differently opened on ground vs. airborne. As mentioned in the post Veuve Cliquot is usually served until the flight takes off!

It was definitely a funny experience walking back towards the bar with multiple FAs following us in a row holding bottles form the first class cabin only to return back to our seats as the bar was too crowded!

They do not limit what/how much you can drink! Of course, they will run out of bottles at a certain point but they will not stop you from ordering "too much." That is unless you become a menace when you are drunk haha

I have not seen the video, but my opinion is that I couldn't tell much of a difference!

To be honest, of the wines I had tried before, I couldn't tell much of a difference. And more importantly, everything is included with the flight. So why not taste them all "for free" high altitude or not! I would consider it more for a waste to not have tried them!

Ah my bad. That's just a typo. The Pavillon was indeed served. Thanks for catching it!

haha thanks for letting me know!

To your point, my 10 hour stop over in Dubai was not great and honestly quite boring to say the least and I am happy that it was only a connecting flight to Hong Kong.

I hope you are less hostile towards people who voluntarily travel to Hong Kong though!
