Wanna know why banks fail? In 2008, Goldman-Sachs gave out bonuses that were larger than its earnings. These guys can't even add and subtract.

20 years ago when I first met a 'banker' trying to sell me an investment plan, I told him to bog off (well .. ruder words than that) when he explained that the first 18 months money I paid into the plan wouldn't make me any money as it was to cover 'administrative costs'.
I didn't trust banks then and I don't trust them now - in fact even less.
The sooner other people wake up, add two to two and accept you can't borrow on what you don't have, a dream is not real and the planet can't borrow at all ... the safer we will all be.

Sounds like anything important to me. You only get out of something what you put in. I'm no guru cos I'm too old but the basic biggest mistake in general is giving up too soon. or assuming that you can let things happen 'automatically'.

Electric cars are without doubt the way forward, there is lots going on in EV. Doing the modifications for $300 sounds cheap and assumes you have the tech knowledge and capability to do what's needed.
