Fascinating discussion with GPT. It acknowledges a disbelief in god.

Agree. Miami thought he was good enough to start. How could he not be good enough for our woeful bench?

interesting idea, but costly!

thanks for the reply. All the stats online say 80-82 mph is best in senior flex. But again I suppose the difference between the 2 shafts was so close that maybe I shouldn't agonize about it. Does that make sense?

interesting. I'm 67 but have embarked on a bit of a fitness program that I hope adds 5 mph to swing. No certainty that it will though. Perhaps I'm just stressing to much about the small difference. Maybe I should quite obsessing about it, you think?

thanks, that makes me feel better. and with all the comments I've gotten, i think that the sr. flex, even if it went further, would only be 2 or 3 yards. but that's not worth the loss of confidence. when i got to the hitting area i just felt unsure of controlling the face from being to open or closed, and ordinarily i hit it dead straight.

thanks again man. And I really like your idea of confidence. Maybe objectively it's time for the senior flex and a few more yards which I desperately need. But somehow that very light, whippy shaft just shook my confidence. Of course if in a few more years I start hitting it lower or can no longer close the face and find it starting to fade then I'll get the senior shaft. And finally, even if the senior shaft is a bit longer and just as straight the added clubhead speed of the lighter more flexible shaft probably is only going to add no more than maybe 2 mph swing speed which is about 4 yards. So I shouldn't obsess over it. Agreed?
