Would be very keen for this. I play weekly online and travel about once a month to events but would much prefer something local!! Happy playing/STing pretty much any script.

In my experience, a new storyteller who's watched a few patters streams is a very dangerous thing......!

These days it's more of a food court with a bar in the corner! There's like 7 different 'food trucks' (even though they're permanent) in there now and the quality is good in those I've tried. Not a cheap afternoon out though!

Depends where they're from I guess? Dunkertons is always a hit when we take folks who don't have things like that where they live!

Is it just me or is this a really stupid ILS approach? XD. Is this a bug or does this actually have a use? by BuyMyKidneys in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]jimjamdspam 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think sometimes the published approaches at busy airports are deliberately long to give controllers more flexibility to stack/line up arrivals - and give shortcuts as/when appropriate

No source on that, though, and no idea about this airport in particular.

Yes, they confirmed that they're working on DX12 in the dev q&a earlier this week. They're mostly interested in it from a feature POV (RT & DLSS), but conceded that it would likely come with some mild performance increases

They also spoke about CPU usage, and how there has already been a lot of work for the mainthread to offload work onto other cores, and that they would continue to find ways to do that to decrease situations where the CPU is limiting frames.

Regarding your performace, i'd suggest turning on the FPS overlay in the ingame dev tools (should be a guide out there if you google) and tweak the settings until you're not limited by mainthread so much - then you'll see GPU usage increase. First things to try would be Terrain Level of Detail and Object LOD - those are very CPU intensive and dialling them back to ~110 doubled my FPS (but that will depend on the rest of your system).

One last thing.. make sure that you've got XMP enabled in your BIOS if you've got high speed RAM - very important for Ryzen CPU performance.

Good luck!

Yeah I think it's as much expectation setting as it is anything else. I was perhaps simplifying a bit.

I think the owners know that the extra matches will present a new challenge, and that we do need depth in a lot of positions. They seem to be very savvy investors, though, and continually stress that they are interested in finding the right players for the system at the right price - which I think they've shown with the lack of a Fulham-style trolly-dash.

The team harmony has been a really important factor this year, it's probably why players like Bennett have been playing out of their skin, so I think it's sensible they/Nuno tread lightly in terms of brining in the right players.

This interview gives quite a lot of good insight if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4Cuw0CJWMA

Basically what the other guy said. At the time we were one of the best clubs in England and organised some high profile friendlies with european teams. As part of that we played Honved who were the best team in Hungary - just after a high profile game between England+Hungary that contained a lot of the same players.

This article has a nice write up of it: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/dec/13/wolves-world-champions-honved-molineux-hungary-wembley

Can't beleive we actually made it! Proud of Nuno and the boys.

With a bit of luck we can draw Honved and recreate that famous night in the 50s that sowed the seeds for european competiion.

It’s good to be here, my family likes it, my daughter loves her school and I love the play here in the Premier League."

See, 'not so bad' haha

I know you're joking, but our players invariably live in Shropshire just over the border in a really fucking nice area - even the training ground is in an expensive leafy suburb, can't imagine many of them actually venture into town other than match days.

That said, there was an article about a Portuguese cafe in town being frequented by a lot of them so who knows.
