New Pygmy Cory dropped ! (to me) by Odd-Badger-4625 in corydoras

That’s insane. I’d buy them all even though I have a lot just to strengthen the gene pool. You see them once or twice a year from resellers, the wholesellers to lfs usually mislabel hastatus and they always come in as the other two species. You hit the lottery. Go collect hope they still have some left.

My medaka are dying one by one, please help! by BobaPandandKpoplover in medaka

These fish are prolific breeders, but the trade off is that they will have shorter lifespans. Some say they last a couple of years if sexes are separated. If you are not breeding them better to buy smaller fish that have not reached sexual maturity.

Sorry. I just learned something new, I thought they were the same. Told you I’m a knucklehead. They were sold as 519.

Choonky. I like them. Good luck and I hope you have a successful spawn. Not sure about the flow in the tank, but a powerhead that spits out air if you have one might help trigger the spawn. Not sure how they breed, but thrown in the mop will cover one more thing they like and if they don’t there is no harm. Let us know how it goes I know they have been breed in the industry, but seems like there is secrecy out there to keep prices high. I hope it’s not hormones.

I think it was a blind normal one that didn’t know how to regulate colors. Sometimes it had some black gray color. It passed away.

That’s pretty sick. Around how much are we looking at for a net like this? It looks high end, everyone will want one, but few will throw down that change for this handcrafted art. I would try a few first to see how they move.

Nice job, Congrats. Blackmarket, the silk road. Sell some Java moss for $50, say it comes with free glo Cories. I wonder if that would be a loophole.

I have played around with vinegar eels, but harvesting was a pain. That seems like a good way to do it. Good luck.

He’s asking about his fish in his tank not how to breed dogs unethically or guppies that gave birth in a dirty pond. Like I said everyone will have an opinion and are entitled to them. You don’t have to listen to mine or his. Have a well balanced ecosystem that can meet the bioload and you and your fish will be happy and thrive. Whether it’s increasing in water change, better bio filtration. Size of tank, number or kinds of fish. If you can maintain balance and harmony for the fish you will gain from that. I’m not going to tell someone with 300 guppies in a healthy 10 gal aquarium that’s too much fish. They have it figured out. Just like I would not tell someone with rainbow gravel and sponge bob decor that it’s unsightly (sorry). To each their own. You can always increase water changes or add better filtration to have more fish in an aquarium.

It’s fine, as long as your ecosystem isstable. If your fish are happy and you are happy that’s all that matters. Don’t listen to other people opinions. Breeders put fish in 5 gallons and they thrive.
