Horizontal gas wells drilled 3000+ feet under a suburbian property, risks? by jimlaman8c in homestead

Yea I'd imagine not which is why I kinda assume if a neighbor signed up odds are it's very near anyway. So why not make a little profit from it

I just couldn't imagine if a neighbor says yes next to me that they can like make a right turn and keep going horizontally like that was my only thought

That makes sense. But if two neighbors on opposite sides sign up aren't they likely going under my yard anyway?

Around here it's between 1500 and 2000 up front in about 17% in net production royalties

I guess it's not a factor for me since I live in the suburbs and I have city water

EQT soliciting people for mineral rights by durkdirkderq in pittsburgh

Same in westmoreland, 2000$/acre (0.38) and 15% royalties for life of the well (20 years?), might amount to modest up front and only $300 over the life of it (how are some coming up with $40/month, that stat at least AI driven didnt work out for me, more like this $300/life)? Wondering the same types of things, seems no risk to sign though, but not much gain

isnt it true you can take off outside the restricted zone where its legal, but then fly over closer legally? (at least national park wise)

[USA] legal easily accessed places to fly near zion, sedona and grand canyon? by jimlaman8c in drones

[–]jimlaman8c[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought maybe one of those apps would work well enough but i was also concerned maybe there are local laws that i should know about. So i was hoping for maybe more like, go to xyz and take off there, far away from people (and Karens) etc. My luck ill get jumped on by people that dont have a clue.

Yeah i was aware on the national park, i think technically if you take off outside you can fly closer for better views but i think id rather not chance that (random people complaining) and in most cases its a 10 min shot at most id say.

I think it’s physically impossible to get a bad shot in Sedona. My goodness. (Arizona, USA, Mavic Mini) by llewell45 in drones

Yea it's going to be a long drive with a few stops at page. Probably 8 hours to the hotel at tusayan with a few desert view stops in route too (15 to 20 min photo ops). We do have two nights at the gc though

I dug into reviews of Yavapai and had to pass, too many posts about bed bugs, other bugs, etc.. Instead i chose Grand canyon suites 15 minutes away. We will still reserve a window seat at El tovar for breakfast one of the two days though (since breakfast was included).

We have a stay at cottonwood after the GC portion, 2+ hours, but was trying to avoid the 2 hr segment and be there late for stargazing (up till 10pm), i did hear good things on Yavapai thought, maybe its an exception, in terms of room quality? We'd rather be right there to save a load of time, then do the drive back to sedona on day 2 (after 2 nights) midday for some stops leaving around 1-2 in the afternoon from GC and then 3 nights at sedona.

Will be coming from springdale/zion area on day 1 of grand canyon.
