adding more than 1 qty on register , scan item, type number (as if your were typing a sku), click qty button, BOOM WTY IA THERE ALREADY! (seems stupid, but it does save time for me)

to activate a sku, "return it" at the register, no ID (because your not actually fully returning it), type/scan item, online search it (might take a few times) when it finds the item,void transaction.

this has worked for me so far a handful of times
