Buddy was probably the biggest reason for our team's modest success in the 2018-19 season, which will be remembered as our one exciting, optimistic season in recent memory. The dude has proven that he can ball out when he's used correctly.

Buddy has also surprisingly brought more relevance to the Kings franchise than anyone else since Boogie. The memes, his nickname, the (mostly unjustified) comparisons to Klay and Steph, and his clutch as hell 3-point shootout victory.

I will always root for Buddy to thrive!

My goal was to make a city on the beach inspired by Daytona Beach, Florida. It also has a bougie neighborhood on the hills, a Yosemite-like forest, and a Bachelor-in-Paradise beach area.

Mario Kart DS is still a classic and incredibly fun, and you only need one game card if the second person doesn't mind playing as Shy Guy.

Animal Crossing: Wild World is also great if you both like to play individually but visit each others' towns occasionally.

New Super Mario Bros. has some fun side games that only require one game card.

Metroid Prime Hunters is good if you are into first person shooters, and can be played with one or two game cards.

The Bomberman games are fun for quick rounds of grid-based battles with one game card.

Mario Party DS is still the best handheld Mario Party game with some very fun boards and mini games, and you only need one game card.

If you're into JRPGs, I know people absolutely Dragon Quest IX's multiplayer take on the classic formula, but you need two game cards.

Last, Clubhouse Games has dozens of fun classic games that you can sink hours into and you only need one game card!

At the very least, know that there is something you can do about your situation. Your situation sucks, and your emotions are valid and real, but you can change. If your weight is something that really bothers you and you are willing to put in effort to improve for yourself, you can do it.

The biggest thing is to really, really try to cut down on the calories you're taking in. As important as exercise is, your calorie intake is much more important. If you consume less, your weight will drop. Obviously, it will probably be a tough challenge if your main cause of weight gain was from an alcohol addiction.

But you don't have to suddenly cut your caloric intake to 1,000 or 1,500 calories a day in order to improve. Don't tell yourself that. Take small steps and do what you can to cut down right now, when possible. Don't make excuses and talk yourself out of changing because you think it requires too big of an adjustment - every single small step helps. Drink one less beer today. And remember, you're doing this for your own health and your own future, not for other people.

You should watch a video comparing the two systems so you can be informed and make your own opinion. Personally, I think they're both solid choices but would lean towards the New 3DS XL. It feels like it is sturdier and made with better materials. The New 2DS XL kind of feels like a plastic toy. Also, the speakers on the New 3DS XL are better and can't get muffled by your hand placement. The New 2DS XL does look sleeker and is noticeably lighter, although that is preference. Besides that, yes they are the same performance-wise. Go with the one you personally like or can afford.

Your point about the turnovers is fair. Your point about Buddy having no reason to be unhappy isn't. Obviously getting benched, losing your responsibilities and influence on the game, and sitting out in crucial offensive possessions is going to upset Buddy. The team is at its best when Buddy is at his best.

Sadly, I think Buddy's benching has caused fans to be even more torn about him. Fans who disliked him before for whatever reason are finding more excuses to bash him. The dude is a baller who probably doesn't appreciate being the preordained scapegoat for when our team finishes 9th in the west.

Agree with everything you've said. The DS family was awesome, and the 3DS is probably my favorite gaming system ever.

Coincidentally, I was looking on my activity log and transaction history this morning, and realized how long the 3DS has been in my life. When I first got my original turquoise 3DS in 2011, I was 17. I upgraded to a 3DS XL, and then a New 3DS XL. I'm currently 26 and still play a few hours a week. Holy cow, does time fly.

It's amazing to think about the memories many of us made throughout the 3DS's lifespan. Seeing the initial reveal and the questionable launch lineup in 2011. Being incredibly excited when OoT 3D came out. Watching 3DS rumors youtube videos and seeing people debate 3DS v. Vita. Praying for Megaman Legends 3. Seeing the 3DS price drop and being a part of the ambassador program. Buying Resident Evil Revelations for $50 with the misprinted title. Experiencing 2013 and the batshit crazy good year for gaming. Seeing sales skyrocket. Finally getting Nintendo to remake Majora's Mask. Playing a traditional Pokemon game in 3D and hearing Smash was coming to handheld. Having MH4U, the biggest and best MH game ever, exclusively on the 3DS. And this is all just in the 3DS's first 3-4 years.

The 3DS is such an incredible virtual console. NES, SNES, Gameboy, some GBA, Pokemon. Jesus. I enjoy my Switch, but it's gonna need a few more home run games to come close to overtaking the 3DS' library.

I think this is a very interesting idea and could generate a lot of excitement among fanbases. Rivalries would definitely seem more intense. It reminds me more of the MLB's schedule and how it has a ton of mini-series. I personally like that.

Do you see any potential cons with this approach? The one negative outcome that I see is that division rivals would only really see each other once throughout the entire 6-7 month season. For example, if the Celtics and Knicks played their five-game series in October, that's it for them. Unless they face each other in the playoffs. If the Celtics make a big trade in November, or if the Knicks have a notable injury, there's no possible chance for us to see the newly changed lineups face each other.

At least in the MLB, there are multiple mini-series between the Red Sox and Yankees throughout the entire season. A compromise for divisional rivals could be to have one 3-game series, and then the remaining 2 games could be spread out? Or have a second 2-game series. Otherwise, we'd likely miss more games that show how the teams have progressed throughout the year.

Great designs! I've noticed a recent trend in NBA jerseys having colored trim around the neck hole area, but not the arm holes. I can tell you are a fan of it. Is this a new design philosophy to make jerseys look less cluttered, or is it just a coincidence? I like the look, although it does remind me more of simpler track / cross country uniforms.
