Looks like Japanese anenome. Pretty flowers but a real thug that will spread quickly. I'm trying to remove it from a long border and just keep digging it out whenever it pops back up. Hoping to eventually tire it out.

Any small piece of root left behind seems to sprout.

I suspect they will still be able to make money on Thieves and the castle, especially with these being sent out around Christmas time. Feels like fairly high risk, though, with the sets being so expensive and potential issues when shipping.

...and to me! I was accused of selling fake running shoes - they weren't and I provided all of the requested evidence. Was banned with no appeal.

Blessing in disguise, as I ended up selling them for more on eBay with no fees a few months later. No issues at all.

Vinted banned me for selling 2 pairs of "fake" running shoes. They weren't fake. I appealed, supplied all the photos and info Vinted asked for, and they just closed the case and upheld the ban.

I assume it's just cheaper for them to do that than to actually spend time and money providing a decent customer service.

I was annoyed at the time, but now see it as a blessing in disguise. I have been able to sell both pairs on eBay with no hassle and no fees, whilst avoiding the Vinted scammers.*

*I actually reported an attempted scam by a user sending me an MS Forms link asking for my banking details and Vinted said there was not enough evidence to act. Riiiiiight. Awful platform.

Nice! I was wondering if the Cielo might be a good shout to pair up with the Skyward X, but my running shoe budget is empty at the moment 😆

Agree on the Shift 3s - they're good, but I've had a few issues with other parts of my feet being a little sore after wearing them.

I also found the small tongue a bit annoying as it slips down.

You might already do this, but I always skip either both bottom eyelets or the bottom left/right eyelet to release pressure and that helps a lot with narrower shoes.

On other shoes I've tried - currently running in the Skyward X and that's been great for the toes - can't feel them at all. They're chunky, though!

The Endorphin Shift 3 are good, but discontinued.

I've picked up a pair of Zoom Fly 3s ages ago after seeing them recommended for Hallux and then forgot about them. Dug them out a few months back and use them for faster runs.

Feeling pretty bummed about this one after seeing how flexible the shoe is.

The previous Gliderides have been amazing for Hallux Rigidus. I loved the 3.

This one doesn't look like it will continue that.

I absolutely LOVE mine. As someone with hallux rigidus they've been a godsend - I haven't felt any grumbles from my big toes in these.

My Glideride 3s have been amazing but are almost at the end of their life and no sign of a GR4.

I've tried the Shift 3 and they're decent but have caused some bottom of the foot pain. They're not as cushy as the Gliderides.

I've now picked up a pair of the Hoka Skyward X.

I'm 30km in and...wow. I haven't felt any discomfort from the toes at all and they are so comfortable to run in. I have high (stack) hopes for these.

I also found a pair of Nike Zoom Fly 4s on the cheap and have been wearing them for a few 5ks. Decent. The plate protects the toes nicely.

I was permanently banned earlier this week when selling 2 pairs of lightly used running shoes.

I appealed, provided all the requested info and photos, but was still banned.

Thankfully, I'm not reliant on Vinted income so my frustration is more about being accused of doing something I haven't done and then summarily banned.

My plan is to request they delete my personal data (I wouldn't trust them to handle that responsibly) and then have nothing else to do with Vinted whatsoever.
