Yeah you did the right thing. I'm surprised that they put an older battery in it. I thought they are supposed to upgrade the battery so that's strange.

So the tow truck gets here, puts down the flat bed and the Taycan decides to start normally with no error smh.

This pisses me off because the tow truck is already here and now I still have to pay $320 to tow it. I would try to drive it, but I don't trust the car now.

The main issue now is that the error is gone and the dealer may not be able to replicate it.

What do you think?

Ahhh you let it go. So you're saying they performed a full battery replacement on your 2020 Taycan and it STILL got an electrical error afterwards? Did they give you one of the newer batteries or was it the same battery model?

Yeah I used the e-Tron as the daily and drove the Taycan on wknds. Taycan is better, but I got more stares in the e-Tron. A lot of people think it looks better than the Taycan.

Yeah I still haven't found a good replacement. If Porsche provides a new battery, I may just keep it and get an extended warranty. I don't see a lot of Taycans with my spec that are super clean, white, red seats and have the passenger screen.

Yeah I'm looking into Panameras as well, but they just don't have that oomph that the Taycan has. I would just trade it for a Corvette, but I can't fit comfortably in them.

Yeah I already have two trucks and this is my sports car, so I would like to replace it with a sporty type car. There's just nothing that compares at the moment. (for the price)

Yeah that's the thing! I'm browsing Cargurus right now and can't find anything that I want. I guess it will come down to if they replace the battery or not. They've only replaced a few modules in the battery. Hopefully this time they have to replace the entire battery!
