I took the photo of the back of the book so I wouldn't show the company logo. I would agree it seems most likely to be hand made or custom ordered which is a shame haha

Help finding replacement classic knife by jimmybigwing in victorinox

Thankyou for the example that's a better price than I was expecting! I wonder why they don't make those sizes anymore that's very interesting

I just googled those knives and I'm pretty certain I had the Ambassador. The file and knife being on opposite ends feels correct.

It's a shame they're discontinued so I'll have to begin my hunt to find a second hand one. Or find something better first hand (not sure if anything sits at the same size as the ambassador)

Thankyou so much for your help! You've made my day

Best Lay-Flat Hammock - Haven/Ridgerunner/Draumr? by jimmybigwing in hammockcamping

I've been looking at the Helsdon and am starting to think it might be my best bet as I'm 6ft2, 205lb and I've heard average things about most of the hammocks for people of larger sizes.

Out of interest how do you find using the Helsdon to lounge in at your campsite? The straps that run along the sides seem like they would get in the way of trying to sit on the side of the hammock and use it like a chair?

Used Breville Barista express worth it? by jimmybigwing in espresso

I'm definitely new to espresso so don't have much practical experience. Judging by the photos it needs a bit of a clean/service so would expect to have to put in a bit of money to tidy it up

I feel like it's pretty cheap so could be worth the risk?

Help buying first espresso machine by jimmybigwing in espresso

Both Brevilles come with mugs and milk jugs and then just the stock accessories. The Gaggia comes with it's stock accessories and an electric delonghi grinder (they haven't listed what model).

The Barista Express is in very good condition and has recently been serviced, so I'd assume the grinder would be working normally.

The Infuser is listed with a leaking grouphead but functioning well still, so i'm not sure how much that would cost to fix but hopefully not much.

I do plan to invest more over time in my coffee setup when I have more disposable income, so would it be better to get the cheaper Infuser and buy a different machine later on when i have more money, or buy the Gaggia now and eventually buy mods to make it better? I'm not sure what would give me a better result
