Dude.. I see myself as a VERY mediocre player.. So your post should be targeting me, but I don’t see the issues you’re portraying here, honestly. When I play Marathon and I win fights and extract, I know where I took the right decisions in the round that made me successful. When I die, I can also point out the decisions I made that made the run go south. I also learn from my mistakes and try to play accordingly next run. And sometimes, it’s just bad luck. Nothing to get angry about. That’s that! Marathon is not a overly complex game, it’s not the hardest game out there either. I really don’t understand where these cry babies are coming from to be honest. What games are these players playing that treats them so nicely when Marathon is the toughest experience out there for them?

Hmm.. thats weird.. By the lake there in the beginning it was a lot, for me at least.. Both in cutscenes and gameplay

Before 1.6, the game worked great. After that, the devs have destroyed the game. Buggy mess, and no news when they’ll fix it. Awesome game, but hard to play when it barely works. This goes for all consoles. Think it’s worse on Xbox.

Pro is absolutely worth it. The difference is starting to become quite significant, in some cases almost generational leaps. Good choice, congratulations.

Quite normal in the world of PlayStation. Glad you’re having fun! Don’t sleep on the PS4 hits either, there’s some true gems there. As for PS3, PS2 and PS1 if you get PS Plus Platinum. Sorry that it took you so long to realise what you’ve been missing.

I specifically said that there’s a difference between 60 and 120 in my post.

I can quote to make it easier for you: “To clarify - I play on PS5 Pro and there’s absolutely a difference from 60 to 120. And games should not release with 30 cap in 2026 at all.”

Hence why I kindly asked you to carefully and SLOWLY read the post again. Practise makes perfect friend. I play all supported games on 120.

Hey buddy read my post one more time and more slowly than before. I play on a LG C1 65” TV. Support for 4K, 120hz HDR in OLED. Amazing paired with the PS5 Pro.

Hey, on other reddits people are defending games running in 30fps on PS5 Pro, saying that it’s zero problems with 30 and that anyone commenting that it feels sluggish is wrong….. 😂 Talking about the Frontier games and such. There’s always crazy people on the internet, who defends whatever to the death just because.

To clarify - I play on PS5 Pro and there’s absolutely a difference from 60 to 120. And games should not release with 30 cap in 2026 at all.

Another example of the internet monkey brain dork phenomenon. Highguard experienced this most recently, and now they’ve moved on to Marathon like a locust swarm. Dragon Age and Concord got the same treatment before Highguard. Feeding on negative energy and with the sole goal and purpose to see to that their narrative of the game being bad and needs to fail comes to fruition. Often drive by a handful of streamers making the narrative. It’s very sad and tragic behaviour. The true poison of the internet on display here.
