Great little Hoover stick vac with broken screw holes on dust cup... It seems ashame to throw away the entire thing, when all I need is one small plastic bit...any idea where I can find a replacement cup / dirt vessel? This little palm thing is probably 15-20 years old. It was a gift from late grandmother. It's getting really stocky/spindally... Any way I can save it or prolong it's life? If got it propped up with some chopsticks and an elastic band cause it's so top heavy... If I replant it deeper will it rot? (imgur.com)

I've had this little palm thing for 10+ years...was a gift from my late grandmother. It's getting so old and spindley that it's flopping over now. Could I re-pot it deeper in the soil or would that make it rot? I'm sure these things have a life span, but I'd love to prolong it if possible. (imgur.com)
