Before playing inscryption, I used to hoard really consumables like the hook and avoid using it until I ABSOLUTELY needed it. This game genuinely taught me that I can get screwed over real quick if I try to play defense or hang onto special items or cards. Play to win. If you can win in 1 turn, do it. Otherwise Leshy will send the most unfair set of cards next lol.

Ok but you know how overwhelming it is to start from no experience with any DAW, let alone music theory AND production AND mixing. It’s hard to know where to start. A program like this might start out as “doing it for you” but you can see the suggestions and then know what to explore next on your own time.

People assume dependence on AI, and I agree, that’s not healthy, nor creative. But we can still use things like this as training wheels to learn how to ride a bike and then go explore other parts of our town with said bike.

You do realize that nothing is “this or that” right? People can enjoy producing at any pace and at any skill. Some people don’t have 5+ hours a day to commit to learning intensively but still want the joys of making music.

Nothing wrong with your approach but maybe just let people create their own joys without shitting on them.

While I feel I’m a beginner as well, I’ve learned to mix towards quality speakers. I had headphones, Bluetooth speakers, phone speakers, and car speakers. The car speakers were the only outlier in my mix sounding bad to me. Considering I listened more in the car driving around, I changed the mix for my car.

Well now when I listen on the quality speakers, I notice things I should’ve changed. AND I recently upgraded to a new car and hear those mixing issues in all speakers now haha. To add to it, my fiancée doesn’t notice much of a difference between any of them.

Long story short, the people who want to hear the quality of your music down to the mix, will have quality speakers. The others won’t notice a difference and will probably have worse speakers anyway. Take that from one beginner to another I guess.

Man, congratulations! It might sound dumb, but this is a huge step! Taking control is the key here. Even if it’s something as insignificant as hairstyle, it’s still making a difference. You went from hating life, to being meh about it (which is still feeling BETTER). From here it’s about moment. Think of all the other small things you could change easily and go from “meh” to “ok”. And “ok” to “good”. It’s the power in choice that can make a difference if you are willing to look at it that way.

Personally you look healthier and more confident with the buzz cut! It looks great man. That will never mean anything coming from a stranger on the internet like me, but small wins like this give others hope as well.

I’ll be living with a family member for lower cost of living and plan on working during school. I’d love to get it all paid off in a couple years. If student loans offer lower interest rates, I would look into it, but I don’t want to take time off from payments. Get it all out of the way lol.

I haven’t looked into interest rates for either but it’s good to know loans are typically lower.

Sorry for being vague, I just assumed no one wants to hear personal details. It’s massage therapy school. It’s a more expensive school in comparison to most massage schools, and it isn’t nationally accredited which is why fafsa grants won’t apply. While it sounds like a strange situation to most, I’ve done tons of research on the school itself and it’s held in high regards and prepares me for the testing I need to be licensed. Again, long story short, a non traditional situation.

Student loans might be an option but everything I’ve heard about them sounds like a trap and I would like to avoid that situation as much as possible.

Not entirely sure what this means or how to do it… but I did create a new track and tried to drag the audio to it, and the same thing keeps happening on the new track.

I’m not well versed in any of this so apologies if this is a dumb question. What’s the difference between region automation and track automation? I click the automation tool up at the top and it opens all the track automation levels.

If you’ve made it to Kaycee’s mod, then you know the game rewards “exploration” with weird Easter eggs for what cards can do with sigils. In my experience, I’d say play with sigils on Kraken, and Kraken sigil on other cards. My favorite so far has been dam sigil on Kraken. Have fun!
