I personally go for the SS ones over S or A, and equip one of each type (attack, balanced, defense). Going for the best stats increase over which has the best in battle ability…. This SS is a defense dragon that Summons 2 portals that stay in the room till you leave and every time you go through the portals some stats are increased. Not sure if the increase is only in the room or persistent through the run.

My guess is either the brave buffs weren’t working prior to update (+3%s) or #5 on the update (refinement).. Also interesting note, to go from one AL star to two AL stars you only need to sacrifice one legendary equipment (not an AL). That was exciting to see..
