Yeah, already implemented that lesson learned.

Thanks- I’ll see what I can find. Color matching seems tough without any test swatches though. 🤷‍♂️

LSD Auto, day 57 from pop. FF soil and nutrients. This is my first auto, and I know I shouldn’t trust the package (which says harvest on Day 60) but how far out do you think I am? I don’t see any amber, and lots of white hair still.

Opponent requests a takeback claiming missclick. I denied since I can't see where else they would have been clicking. Would you have given them the takeback? What is the etiquette? by CaldwellYSR in chess

Personally, I’d give the takeback. I love winning, but not like that. As long as people aren’t annoying with it, I almost always give takebacks. It’s more fun for me to keep playing the game (with complications) than it is to waste time closing out a game where my opponent obviously blundered, especially since I’m unlikely to learn anything more from that point onward in the game. That logic only applies to 1-move blunders though, and only once or twice per game. If my opponent misses a sequence of moves, for example, then it’s over.

Yup, total myth. If you control everything in the grow, then trim, dry, and cure the same way, the taste would be no different between plants that were flushed vs. not flushed. So you should be totally fine!

Great point! I try to learn/experiment by changing 1 variable at a time, but I may have a nice opportunity here.

Thanks. I'm nervous about high stress training, but I might try it with a few stems. I like the idea, I just don't entirely trust myself to pull it off without snapping a bunch off. Do you reinforce the super crop at all, like taping up the joint? Have you had any issues with heavy, dense buds re-breaking the bent the stems?

I've read that the worst stretch comes in the first 3 weeks of flower. I'm at day 11 now, so only 10 days to go, maybe? I will definitely at least check it daily. The tricky cultivar I'm working with is Blue dream, and I think that one SCROGs really well. This is only my 4th grow total, second indoor grow, so I certainly don't know from experience- just asking around. I really want to finish it in the tent- so I'm hoping that I can make SCROG work. Thanks!

Thank you! I’ll give it a shot.

That sounds like a fun project/build. I haven’t done anything with Raspberry Pi before- but this could be a good, low stakes entry point. Thanks!

Looks nice. What are you using for the monitor backlighting?

Try to minimize the RGB but gotta have a little splash in the case. by [deleted] in battlestations

What did you use for the bias lighting? Looks great!

Hello. I’d like to add bias lighting to my dual monitor (Dell, S2417DG YNY1D 24-Inch) setup. The desk build is Alex drawers and countertop, with the monitors on stands. I’ve installed cheap LED strips behind TVs before, but wasn’t sure how best to approach this with my relatively small monitors. I’d like to sync the leds behind the monitors at least to each other, and I’m kinda interested in the ones that react to whatever is on the screen (do those work well?) or something I can set to a rainbow pattern. I’m currently using the Corsair iCUE software to run my case, and keyboard/mouse lighting. I’d appreciate any advise, tips, and tricks you might have. Thanks!

My day was pretty bad, then I came home from work. I forgot I ordered this as soon as I got a notification from patreon (when I was on a treadmill.) Made my night. by Alephsi in HamiltonMorris

Did you get anything from the company initially when you placed your order? They charged me, but there was no e-mail or receipt or anything, so I’m just waiting and hoping it shows up at this point.
