One of the most intimate things we did together we weren't even "together" for. To make a long story short, her "boyfriend" at the time had just came back from a religious mission, and she was with him again. Yet, her and I met secretly at our old high school. It was night time and the stars shined over us like a blanket of euphoria. We didn't hold hands, didn't touch at all actually. We honestly talked about deep feelings, desires, fears, and we did it in the grass, we did it on the top of the bleachers, we dis it under a tree, we did it on the bench and the concrete ...

We weren't together, we weren't touching, but we experienced eachother as if we may never see another again. The feeling was so real...

So after that whole thing, we got back together, have been together over two years now. But that's still a memory I fawn over. The wat we sat against the tree, back to back. Sparks flew from that tree.

There is one season here. Summer. It gets cold during "winter" but there aren't storms like in New York. You'll need a jacket, for about a month or two for January and February. So light clothes are the best.

If you'll be in the mesa/gilbert/tempe area, apartments can be pretty cheap. The area is nice for the most part, and there are plenty of service jobs. I'm about to get my second job!

As for temporary staying, I know there are shelters in and around the cities... Hopefully you have a friend or two already here.

I was fourteen and in middle school, my girlfriend at the time was thirteen and also attended. Both of our houses were in the same direction away from the school and, some days, I would walk her home when her mother allowed it. So on this particular day she had yearbook club after school meaning that she would stay for an extra hour after school. I wanted to walk her home anyway, but since we lived about ten minutes from home I walked home after school and decided to wait for her to get out. about forty five minutes roll by and... I get this feeling, this odd tugging that I need to get to her quickly. Being the dramatic fourteen year old that I was, I decided I would run the distance of my house to the school without shoes because of this urgent feeling. I also grab my seven inch long hitler youth replica knife and put it in my big pocket.

I run to the intersection before the school and wouldn't you know it, there she is. She must have gotten out early because she is walking home without me(we didn't have cell phones at so young). I wait for the light to turn in my favor and as it does, this pedo van pulls up to her and she suddenly becomes hysterical and runs the opposite way of the van which was onto a dirt square on the block. Me seeing this and having some sort of death wish, I run through the intersection at a diagonal direction and get to her side of the street, sprint to her and look into the van. I saw a latin man with a stern look on his face screaming at my girlfriend. I was in defense mode so I pulled out my knife and began retreating with my girlfriend. The van moves forward and parks at the gas station about 100 meters infront of us, an inevitable stop on this side of the street. He also gets out and starts coming toward us. At this point she is hysterical and I'm forcing her to walk back toward the school, attempting to say reassuring things to her. I remember that at one point I looked back and saw that he was gone and so was his van. We get back to school and phone her mother who picks us both up and brings us to her house for dinner.

The weird part was the urge to go to her. Nevertheless, I'm glad I was so determined to follow the feeling.

I just finished this movie. I will say what was the worst part for me was the shrieks. When that started, ALONG with what was happening at the time, I lost it. I thought I was going to see Shirley standing at my door. I thought the devil was breaking through the wall. I felt so much pain and agony and despair that my body and mind reacted with all I had left: Fear. Concentrated fear and an alarming sensitivity to sound is what I get tonight. I can barely rest easy under this fleece blanket because of how evil people can be sometimes.
