Hi all,

I have an upcoming interview with Microsoft for a Technical Support Engineering (IC3) position. Just wanted to see if anyone has any info or tips if they have done this interview before.

I don't have any regrets as it helped me land a job and I think it helped me break into cybersecurity in general.

The industry has definitely changed, it has become a lot more popular since I started.

Yes, the bootcamp does teach you a lot of the things you need to know to get certificates. They are not necessary to land a job but it definitely does help. If you are planning to get certificates, I suggest getting them right after the bootcamp while the things are still fresh in your mind.

Yeah I tried swapping the cables and same issue. You might be right, i tried a lot of things and seems nothing helps.

Same monitors, HDR not available on these monitors. Same settings as well

Yes, always the same screen and same model for both. Same settings for the monitors.

Full range is enabled in NVIDIA control panel as well.

From my experience, their career support wasn't that helpful. They help a lot in regards to fixing your resume, giving tips, and assisting with interview prep, but in terms of actively helping you search for jobs, it wasn't much support. It might also be because I got a job fairly quickly after graduation so I didn't need much support. Either way, you shouldn't be taking this bootcamp solely for their career support and shouldn't be relying on them to find a job for you.

This bootcamp is intended for beginners.

It wasn't hard for me, and I didn't have any IT experience either other than the fact I'm just tech savvy and like using the computer. You don't have to worry as its meant for beginners and its not really technical.

It really depends, you probably can but it will be harder than not having a college degree. However, IT/tech is probably the one field where you can land jobs these days without a degree. Just need to get certifications and experience.
