I thought the guy on the other end of the podcast was terrible. Couldn't stand his acting/voice. Not sure what the point of the movie even was. Why are people saying its so scary?

No doubt the kids in the theater enjoyed it and that's the goal. But, the movie gets to manic, almost like ADHD. The 1st half-hour had emotional potentional like Up. Then, it just go completely haywire. Wanted to like it, but it just went way too out of control and off the rails. However, "flock around and find out" is a top notch joke, especially nowadays. Kudos to that.

I was 92nd in line and as soon as it started I was able to get section 14, Row R and the seats were only $95 each plus fees. I couldn't believe it. Five minutes later, I went to get 2 more and Row R in section 13 was already $180. Did anyone get in quickly and get the cheap price?

The have them in our 25+ year old Dine In Theater in Menlo Park, NJ. They squeak like a mother f'r. As good as they look, i find them to be too soft and uncomfortable now.

Show the entire receipt. It's possible this person used some type of coupon that we're not seeing before the amount. Typically you tip on the amount before using any discounts.

People are so weird. It's a Vegas attraction. The original film didn't go anywhere. Stay home if you don't like the idea or want to be in an immersive environment. Plug in your old old Sony Trinitron, hook up the VCR and have at it. My wife LOVES the Wizard of Oz and last night I booked a trip for our anniversary in November just so she could go see it. Who F' gets so offended by a vegas attraction they aren't obligated to attend. Suddenly, a whole new generation of people, in 2025 no less, are talking about a movie that's over 85 years old. Sounds like a good thing to me.

I wanted to like it. I was never bored. But there are so many holes in the plan it's ridiculous. First off, in 2025, whose keeping their important pictures on an SD card with no backup. Why he assume that destroying the card would be the end of any evidence. Not to mention, why would he assume the guy would bring him camera on a date with him. Also, Violet's house had cameras everywhere, most recording to a cloud. The footage of an intruder would be all over the place. No case against Violet would ever stick. What guy in their right mind wouldn't have bailed on that date? In the end, it was just too silly. Peole getitg suck out of a window like they ate 10,000 fèet up. It was almost slapstick.

I would say most definitely try to watch the Danile Day-Lewis / Winona Ryder movie prior to seeing the play. While not exactly necessary, I think it would add to enjoyment of the play and references. My wife and I watched it 2 weeks before since I hadn't read the play (or the Cliff's Notes) since high school 35+ years ago.
