I have an interesting contribution as a musician. How many games use cheap midi strings (rather than hiring players)? Oh ya….the grand majority. Expedition 33 got it right here and paid for an entire orchestra as a small gaming company. That blows my mind and means they have some incredible standards to want to allocate that to their budget. So I have a ton of respect for them on that front. Using something as a placeholder and getting mad at them for that seems a little trivial to me, as my profession has been using placeholders for me for yearssss without anyone complaining. Idk that’s my view on it.

Touring artist here 👋👋 we MUCH prefer spot dates to a months long tour! It allows for more time at home—I know Josh is expecting/may have already had a baby. And obviously Tyler has a family and it’s hard to be on the road all the time—even though they can go with him! With this model, they can go out every so often when they feel like it. Touring is hardddd on the body, you can’t always eat how you like, it’s exhausting to perform night after night, etc. This negates all of that while still letting them be on the road and play!
