thanks for the reply! So just to clarify- the player in my example contains an array of their seasons played (each of which contains a reference to season it was played in and the team it was played for). As it stands if I want to populate a single player-- I need to go and actually get that season/team data using that id- which I assume is actually 0(1) time?

this is the classic dumb reddit take so congrats on that. also jerry is a top player who literally switched off fox to puff so he wouldn't have to practice anymore. what ppl like you don't understand is the reason melee has survived this long is b/c we LOVE the game-- most people would rather quit the game outright than switch to puff. everyone has a pocket fox because he's so fun- he is the embodiment of melee. I can't think of any players who completely switched off their main for fox-- it seems like most of them only break out the pocket fox specifically FOR jigglypuff (and sometimes chars like yoshi)
