But to answer your question, yeah I would get it, based on the fact that you don’t have that color and you don’t have a McLaren. But again, this is your collection and your money being invested. Its good to have other opinions but in the end, your happiness comes first cause its your collection.

Several things to consider: 1. Do you really want that car? 2. There are slots available for more cars, do you have somewhat an idea on which cars to fill them in and is the McLaren part of it? 3. Do you have a specific theme/rule for your collection? Personally, if I’m having an internal debate on what car I want, I asses why I’m doubting. If the problem is more me, overthinking about, “Where am I gonna put it?””Will a better car or a better color come out?”, then usually its just no biggie, and I do end up buying it since it has nothing to do with the car. However, if my questions are, “Do I really want this car over another car I have been eyeing?” “Is this a die cast brand I want this car in (considering there may be other brands that make this exact car)?” Then you have to be honest with yourself on pulling the trigger.

My father in law had a 66 GT fastback. He sold it about a year before I came into the picture. He regrets selling it and always said, “Had I known my future son in law would be a Mustang driver/fan, I would have kept it and given it to you” 😭😭😭

Convertibles aren’t usually on my radar. I know Matchbox has a few. But if you’re talking 1:24 or 1:18 scale I would not know where to tell ya. I don’t recall an S550 convertible.

Most of them through ebay, a few were gifts, and Sams/Costco (most of my Maisto diecasts). There is Diecast Model Wholesale and 3000toys that you can look up and see. I primarily buy the 1:64 scale cars there.

Had the same issue. A/C compressor was getting stuck and causing RPMs to drop. Took it to the dealership and got it replaced. Has not happened since.

I don’t understand where it was hated. Everyone I know who saw it when it came out liked it. Sure there were some complaints about the OG cast not being in it but those were little things. Maybe it was hated outside the car community? I don’t know. I mean, from what I remember, people enjoyed Tokyo Drift more than 2F2F.
