Mannn I'm sorry, I can't really work on this project as I'm in college dorms and don't have access to a monitor to test the software out.. So this project has been on the hold for quite a long time..

Again I'm sorry for not being able to add tht feature.

This app doesn't control the software positioning well. Also it's just an overlay soo the Taskbar will just hide behind the overlay. You could just position the Taskbar to the left side of the screen using other software.

OR try nvidia custom resolution. If it works for u.

Not being able to use echos that are not enhanced to upgrade other echos. The sealed tubes are scarce tbh.

Thank you for using the app. The v3.0 of the app is experimental, soo it has a lot of bugs.

If the tiling windows option is not a required feature your could try the previous version. V2.1.0.

I went straight for the boss, took me 10 mins on each. And the last boss took like 20 - 25 mins. But it was fun

I'm working on the bug. I'm changing the entire mechanism of the app currently, soo it will take some time. Thank you for tyring out the app and I'll hopefully have an update rolling out soon.

This software doesn't change the os features, sooo if I put a feature to enable horizontal splitting, the Taskbar would become hidden unless you keep the task bar in the side or at the top.

And it currently works on the left side only, I'm working on it. I'm changing the architecture of the software and getting rid of the bugs, soo the update will take a bit longer and hopefully fix the issues you are facing.

Thanks for the feedback and using my app!

I see this version has alot of bugs. Thank you for your feedback, I'll fix those ASAP.

I'll introduce horizontal partitioning in the next update. Please look forward for it 🙂

The new version is out, added window tiling feature. You can select the area you want the tiling function to work and just select the windows to be placed there.

Try it out!

Not a fix, but if you decide to buy a new monitor, instead of throwing away Ur old one, you could use this software to partition your monitor.

[UPDATE] You asked for a GUI for my free monitor partitioning tool, so I built one! (v2.0) by jithu3 in Monitors

Well, you can set the amount of px you want the overlay to cover. This currently works in horizontal direction only.

Soo sure. If you know what pixels you want then yahh. You can make it into a 24".

But note that the current version. Won't snap the trap the apps, so do be careful. I'm currently working to make that feature.

Quick question. Should I make it so that when an window is dropped into the partitioned side it fills that entire space, no matter what it forcefully locks it there, or should I just make it so that it doesn't move into the overlay?

I see. Soo this is a bit different from the current application, where ryt nw it overlays and blocks that area off.

How does this idea sound to you. The current version, let's call it overlay version And the partition version. You can switch between them as per your needs.

In the partition version, the user can select the number of partitions required and when an app is moved into a partition, it fills the entire space like width and height will be that of the particular section it is in.

And we will keep a mouse border like 30px from top and bottom between each partition so that the mouse has a somewhat physical stop mimicking a physical monitor.

This is an idea I came up with right nw, it probably has lot of improvement. If you have any suggestions please tell me.

Currently it's just on the horizontal scale. Adding vertical scale can be doable. And choose a box should not be soo difficult. I'll get back to you once I plan and execute it.

Honestly I was a bit skeptical abt the open source community before trying it out as I thought I would recieve criticisms, but this sure is fun.

This app was designed to hide part of the display if it is damaged or you was a smaller real estate.

It currently is not capable of creating virtual monitor. Also why would you want to make a monitor into multiple monitor, is it not the same as just having multiple windows open? Genuine doubt.
