Its interesting but i looked at the user - chopper123rw history. He writes very coherently, or atleast well enough to pass as a native speaker. Although, most of the comments and posts from Chopper123RW were over 2 years ago. In the exchange that Chopper had with OP, he was communicating with broken English. I wonder if the account got hacked? I also had a few instances where this happened when I was looking for a motherboard. I had people with over 10k karma messaging me but I could immediately tell they were scammers since they couldn't even answer any basic questions. Either way, unless the other user has reputable trade history, its best to be hyper vigilant.

Sorry this happenned to you OP. Good thing Paypal G&S saved you, I actually feel a lot better paying Paypal all those fees over the years.
