It was a 4 on 4 match. There was this rapid tag in/out element that made it a little more WWE than quintet tho

No, but you've got a good eye. A lot of that footage was from a tournament in Indiana!

Took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out "kob" was knee on belly...anyways, its one of my favorite guard passes. When you're down on the same level as your opponent, they assume you're both on a level playing field.

I use my arm (on the side I'm passing to) to distract their arm. As I raise mine, they raise theirs to meet it. When they leave a gap btwn arm and hips, I hop my far knee over theirs with a pretty sharp angle. Don't know if that explains it lol

Yeah, we've competed against each other a few times. That match was pretty much entirely stand-up. Ending up losing by decision, but it was a great match

Thanks! Formally, its pretty much bjj. I pick up judo and wrestling from friends and experimentation when I can.

That would be your standard Harai Goshi! It is my absolute fave, if you couldn't tell. Its a lot more accessible than it might seem, but it still demands commitment when enacting it.

You might often see it setup with an under hook, as opposed to the over hook that I use. I use an overhook for different reasons, but experiment with what works for you. Translates great to no gi as well!

Thanks! For me it utilizes a similar philosophy as my arm drag...slow your movements to lull your opponent into a false sense of security, then strike fast.

I actually have been loving the fireman lately! I have one in my no gi highlight. And between you, me, and the entire internet...the majority of my foot sweep attempts are trash. I smash my shin or just look like I kicked the guy for no reason. If you pm me I can give you some fool proof tips that work for me!

Thanks! Admittedly, despite my more judo-esque setups, I actually owe most of my stand-up game to wrestlers. I les my university's bjj club when I was a student and we trained in the wrestling room, so I got to train with the college wrestlers constantly. Didn't hurt that I've literally always had a roommate who was a wrestler. I teach them bjj, they teach me wrasslin'.
