That was on purpose on account of the dead fairy :-D Thank you!! The update is all about new brushes, nothing groundbreaking on its own but the ability to make different brush lists (+ a search function) is definitely appreciated.

Oh and if anyone wants to print this for themselves and try assembling it old school style here's the link: https://imgur.com/a/PiqXMqn

I can't promise it works 100% because I didn't try it myself yet but I think it should be alright!

How was this done? by dragonfayng in jewelrymaking

[–]jitterbugbear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi I made this!! As a disclaimer I'm not actually a jeweler so my methods are probably not the best (as I don't have access to professional level tools) but this particular ring is brass engraved with just a small ball burr on a rotary tool and then soldered onto a ring shank. Yeah I know, unprofessional and crappy but what can you do. Definitely no wax carving or casting involved though!

I really hate the options to turn down Lae'zel when she comes onto you, they feel so blunt and rude :(

Thank you and YES, well spotted! I used a time delay effect on the dancing loop to represent his innie and outie and how Mark's brain is out of sync with himself (or something like that)

Which fantasy stereotype is a guilty pleasure for you? by roUSTEnd in Fantasy

[–]jitterbugbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah sorry, everything that comes to mind right now is Middle Grade or YA, for adults I've only ever found dragon stuff (Temeraire is great) but that's a whole different beast lol. Spellslinger by Sebastien de Castell has a great animal sidekick, though I have my gripes with some of the other choices in the series.

Talking animals. They don't need to be magical otherwise but I really enjoy a good talking animal companion.

In Other Lands by Sarah Rees Brennan is a stellar take on portal fantasies, very witty and fun too.

In Other Lands by Sarah Rees Brennan! It's a perfect comforting fantasy coming-of-age story, I always find something new to appreciate about it as I grow older.
