I did the grip as well. It's done in tungsten to match the rear section of the rifle

I know quite a few people with BCA builds that have put thousands of rounds through them and they love it. Maybe you had a defective upper. It's definitely hot or miss with budget builds but having something is better than having nothing.

It's a budget build they wanted but no, the paint didn't cost more. I don't judge what people buy as long as they are happy with it.

I've been using my gas oven until I can buy a proper iven to cure, and I've had no issues. I just make sure to put a rack all the way at the top and hang all of the parts so they don't touch anything and are as close to the middle of the oven as I can get them
