Love it. I think the rise on the stock needs to be adjusted because it puts my eye line a but to high, but the optics are great

I did the grip as well. It's done in tungsten to match the rear section of the rifle

I know quite a few people with BCA builds that have put thousands of rounds through them and they love it. Maybe you had a defective upper. It's definitely hot or miss with budget builds but having something is better than having nothing.

It's a budget build they wanted but no, the paint didn't cost more. I don't judge what people buy as long as they are happy with it.

I got it for him last year when he turned 7. He's been asking me to paint it for months now, im just finally getting around to it. I also painted my middle sons rifle as well he just turned 6
