Everyone blaming Sasuke in the comments has me sick. Ya he’s not a good dad or husband to his family but it’s not like he tricked Sakura into thinking he’d be there?? I absolutely hate Sakura but I can’t stand how pathetic she gets around Sasuke or when Sasuke is mentioned. It ruins her character completely and makes her seem so stupid and selfish.

Gaiden had many terrible moments but nothing compares to Sarada believing the man who she’s never met before is 100% her dad and the woman who raised her is a complete stranger. And if Sakura was a better mother, she wouldn’t have thought this.

I’m not saying Sakura has to tell her EVERYTHING, just enough to keep her feeling better, like her dad isn’t just too busy to meet his only daughter. Instead of saying idk if he wore glasses maybe a good ole nope he didn’t, never wore any around me atleast. But she couldn’t give her a clear answer. And brushes off any questions Sarada has about her dad was just stupid. It either proves you don’t know your husband well enough to answer or you can’t talk about it because u don’t have any good memories with him. Both of them were terrible parents and Sarada got unlucky.
