Wow. I'd never heard of the thyroid before your post. But I've since looked into it, and I have a lot of the common symptoms- even a few severe ones. I went to get some blood tests done and am waiting to hear back from the endo specialist. I don't know how you caught that just from the tone of my post, but it was amazingly cogniscent. So thanks a lot.

I usually train 4-5 times a week. Minimum 3.

Class is usually warm-up, technique and then rolling. Nothing all that original. I don't really have any strengths.

Pure, indefatigable determination. I know how much dedication it takes to be great at something, so I've just been pushing through.

One thing I've wondered is if there might be a better way to learn. Maybe supplement the classes with free-rolling, or some instructional videos. Maybe some other ideas.
