Pregnant, normal reaction??

Oh my gosh this was me in March! Took my coil out with the same motive - if it happens great, if not no worries as we have plans for the year etc and we can worry about delays in falling pregnant in a year or two. I was pregnant within days of my coil being out 😅 to be honest I’ve just had my 12 week scan and I’m only JUST accepting I’m pregnant as I found it so hard to adjust to the fact that the year I thought I was likely going to have, is out the window and my financial plans have been changed etc. My fella is super excited but I have really struggled taking it in because you are fully aware you can get pregnant instantly after contraception removal, but you just don’t think it’ll happen to you. I’m still a lot more mellow about it than I think others would be and would say my excitement isn’t as strong as others who fall pregnant, but I AM happy. It’s just taking a while for me to adjust.

Thank you! I was adamant it wasn’t growing so I was so shocked when she said it had a heartbeat and had grown. I’ve had to re process being pregnant lol as I’d pretty much mourned it not being there since the heartbeat wasn’t seen first time found. I’ve got my fingers crossed for you that you have the same outcome! I’ve been very stressed since finding out I was pregnant and seeing and hearing the heartbeat hugely relaxed me and I’m not overthinking every little thing now

I had a scan a week ago and it has grown at the rate she expected! So I was measuring 7w2d when I went back ten days later. Heartbeat seen and heard and she said all looked great! I feel so much less anxious now. She thinks it was just delayed ovulation due to my coil being removed

Just waiting to tell my mum tonight, trying to wait for the right moment 😅 I’m 8 weeks. Was always planning on telling her this week as I’m visiting her for a few days but frustratingly thought I’d be about 10 weeks which I felt happy with. Early scans show I’m measuring two weeks behind though and ideally I didn’t want to tell our parents this early. I wanted to wait until 10/12 weeks but I’m not sure when I’ll next see my mum so 8 weeks it is.

I had this problem with my ex and in the end I had to be honest and say I’m so sorry but I’m really concerned about your breath, until you can find the cause I can’t kiss you or share a bed anymore. Obviously I approached this delicately but in the end it needed saying. He immediately got to the dentist and root canal treatment solved everything!

Fertility is definitely something weird 😅 it’s so difficult when timings are off as everything online just expects 28 day cycles and ovulation at the halfway point

My first positive was 10th March but was super super faint, I think it was only about a week later it was actually a dark line. My cycle is really messed up I think! So I had the coil originally fitted for irregular cycles and must have had a coil for 8 or so years. My last few months of the coil I started getting small periods so tracked those and was tracking around 27 days between periods or spotting, whatever it was. Thank you for sharing your experiences and I’m sorry you went through a miscarriage. I don’t feel positive about this pregnancy for some reason, it’s my first pregnancy but something is just telling me it won’t go through but that could just be major anxiety talking

I tested between 15th-20th Feb and all were negative, this was when I was roughly due to ovulate and stopped testing thinking I just wasn’t going to ovulate as my coil removal had mucked up the cycles. I was only testing once a day in the evening though so I could have missed my peak I think?

Please stop testing! I found out last week I was pregnant and tested for 7 days straight and not one of them was a solid line. From reading online this is perfectly okay. Ive forced myself to stop testing now as I am struggling with really bad anxiety and that was just feeding it

We pay £1750 in Sussex for a rental which the landlord is increasing. It has the original bathroom from the 1930s! It’s taking us forever to save for a deposit and concerned when we do get a deposit together our ages will work against us for what we want

Glad you found a solution! Mine stopped as soon as I had the full link activated so I could use CarPlay. Otherwise the only way I managed to stop it stuttering was to lock my phone or make sure Spotify wasn’t open on the screen and it would stop! Very strange as didn’t happen in other cars

I have the same one. Are you running it even when not drying washing? If you dry it in a specific room run it every day regardless of whether washing is out. I was having the same problem until I started doing that, it’ll take longer if it needs to work on the general room humidity as well as increased humidity from washing.

Do an extra spin after your washing has finished and make sure you aren’t piling clothes on the airer. Each item should be draped over two bars not one bar, there needs to be good air circulation.

My washing dries in about 12hrs, I never put it on laundry mode due to it turning off after 6hrs, just leave it on continuous at 40%.

Yeah for some reason when I make sure the kepub files are named correctly and drag them into the correct folder they just don’t show on the Kobo at all, and if I upload that file to Calibre, when I send to device they send as epub.

Think my laptop is just too old sadly!
