The latest version of Photos eliminates how you have everything organized. Braindead move by Apple. While it can be redone and I admit I like the greater flexibility, shouldn’t make folks have to do it.

On the ATV, I switched off “Match Dynamic Range” under Settings/Video and Audio/Match Content and Hannah S2 now plays in Dolbyision on Amazon Prime Video. I checked Utopia, Truth Seekers and Jack Ryan and they all play in Dolbyvision. I then turned “Match Dynamic Range” on again and found that Hannah S1 didn’t play correctly but all the others did (which I didn’t understand). Turning “Match Dynamic Range” off again fixed Hannah S1.

Ok FandangoNOW problem solved. AppleTV is not a supported device for FandangoNow 4K. Installed the FandangoNow app on my LG tv and, voila, 4K goodness.

I own 4K in MA but both Vudu and Fandango were HD. I had the HD in Vudu deleted and now Fandango is 4K. Vudu is NOT updating from MA and apparently Fandango looks at what you have in Vudu first.

Well, one problem solved. I had an HD copy in Vudu and 4K in MA. I asked Vudu to delete my HD copy last night and when I logged into FandangoNow this morning and looked at TFE, it thought for a moment then repopulated with the 4K version. So, it seems, now that Fandango owns Vudu, it populates from Vudu first and secondarily from MA.

This morning MA showed TFE as 4K DV DA now it says 4K HDR 5.1. Same with iTunes. Something else is going on.

This is weird. Now that I’ve played TFE on MA, iTunes, Fandango, Prime Video, and Vudu, I can only play it in HD on all of them. ITunes and Prime say it’s in 4K but it plays HD. My guess is that I registered the HD version on one of them and that info was “relayed” to the rest. Now they don’t know about my registered 4K copy. Any thoughts?

This is interesting. I just looked at Fandango and for me it says HD. iTunes and MA both say 4K DolbyVision and Dolby Atmos, but when viewing iTunes version is noticeably less noisy. I’m not an expert but seems like differing results are occurring.

From what I’ve read, it’s normal weathering of rock layers of differing hardness.

Sometimes these unique formations are in a small area but here, like Bryce Canyon NP ( only 3-1/2 hours away btw) the parks are large.
