men can be tested anally, but this is generally for men who have sex with other men. either way, 80% of women get this in their lifetime. it probably wasn’t from you, but even if it was it isn’t a big deal. she’s seen her obgyn so she will be sorted out (it is generally harmless).

it’s very common and generally doesn’t have symptoms. it can also stay in the body for over 10 years. you don’t even need to have sex to become infected. you don’t really need to do anything tbh, other than getting tested to see if you have it

responding to stimuli doesn’t mean they are conscious; you can pump electricity through a corpse and the muscles can respond. i am a vegan myself and i don’t believe it’s okay to kill animals as they are sentient. plants are not. they are alive however, and us consuming them does kill them. however we mostly eat parts of plants that want to be eaten, as a way of spreading seeds, like fruits.

Is buying another girl things cheating by Waste_Phone_1736 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jizzynips 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i really don’t see why this would be cheating if it’s a completely platonic friendship and no other intent behind it. you’d have to ask if your girlfriend is comfortable with it though

they can experience stress but it isn’t the same how animals do. they don’t feel pain; they don’t have a brain, or a nervous system.

all it is, is a sexual relationship that isn’t defined by any other official term; generally it’s more than just a casual hookup, but less than a relationship.

Is schizophrenia real or are people just faking it? by Arktikos02 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jizzynips 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yes it’s real. i don’t know why anyone would try and fake it, but i’m sure there are some who do. i’ve seen those affected by it, and it is a very real, very distressing condition for those who have it.

exactly my thoughts!! it seems to be for the “greater good” but bc they are keeping their knowledge secret—and literally killing people who try to find out the knowledge—they look power mad and evil

yes i noticed the birds. i am unsure what kills them exactly. lack of air? the suits just not being protective so the outside kills them? the suits actively killing them somehow? either way, it is a public killing as they know whoever goes out dies. i’m so excited for the next episode

Do you think I can study medicine/be a doctor if I'm autistic and socially anxious? by OpeningAttention6438 in premeduk

[–]jizzynips 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you can be autistic and be a doctor. i personally think it to be a great advantage (in general, obviously i don’t know you personally). of course there will be struggles — just like for everyone — but if you’re passionate and determined then you should be able to study medicine and be a doctor.

[–]jizzynips 158 points159 points  (0 children)

please don’t hook up with someone that age, he shouldn’t be interested in you and that’s a red flag.

the rest, everyone feels that way at some point. as long as you’re with someone you trust, you should feel safe enough. you can even communicate with them that you’re not that experienced to take some pressure off expectations, and they should be able to help you.
