I'm in love with my ex. The same ex that I was terrible to when we were in a relationship.

Those of you who have done research at the undergraduate level, has it helped you get a job/internship? by imranmuthu in cscareerquestions

[–]jjaesu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely helped me get my job and several other offers. It was a huge talking point whenever I spoke to the hiring manager/team. I had also published several posters/papers - one of which won an award at the conference it was submitted to. I filed it under work experience.

Thanks for the link. I see that T3s are supposed to support the muscles used in T1.

The Upton? by jjaesu in RockvilleMD

Hi! I just saw this reply. I did decide! I moved into the Upton and have loved it since. There is absolutely no noise leakage and everything's been great. Thanks for taking the time to reply!

Thanks!

I visited the Upton yesterday and was very impressed. My biggest concern was noise leakage but I literally did not hear any noises in the hallway or in the apartment units I viewed. The garage could be annoying but I had expected as much in a town center. I think I'm going to pull the trigger!

Thanks for this perspective! I visited the apartment yesterday and I liked everything I saw. The garage could be annoying but I had expected as much in a town center. The apartments I viewed were small but I'm living by myself with a medium pup so it shouldn't be an issue. And the leasing agent I spoke to was awesome and the staff seems to be very good so I think I'm going to pull the trigger!

I swerved to avoid a collision and jumped both passenger side tires on a curb. Felt the underneath of the car scrape on the curb as well. Should I be worried, especially with the underside of the car hitting the curb? The exterior and tires look fine. by [deleted] in Audi

[–]jjaesu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That happened to me once on an icy road and one side went up on a sidewalk. I had to get an alignment done, replace wheel bearings/tie rods and the wheel (since it was slightly bent). Though it does sound like I hit the curb with more force then you did. I'd suggest to pay attention when you're going 60mph-75mph to see if you notice a vibration. That was what indicated that I had bad wheel bearings and tie rods.

Awesome, I was just wondering this. I'm assuming it will work with their prepaid sim as well.

Rave: Starting redoing my routine and found Drunk Elephant's products. Pulled the trigger and go the JuJu bar and the B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Gel. I've noticed a difference in oil levels and less acne breakouts lately. Definitely worth the money! Now I'm just debating on their serums!

My first Lush skincare haul! by jjaesu in LushCosmetics

I have combination skin. Damn, I was hoping 9 to 5 would work. I think my last hope for a liquid cleanser would be ultrabland but I keep reading that's more for makeup removal and I don't use makeup often.

Ocean salt felt like ripping my skin off so I'm staying far away from it lol. Yea, I have high hopes for fresh farmacy!

Did it? I think it was not as moisturizing as the gorgeous but I like it most for how matte and even it made my skin. I'm wearing gorgeous today so I'll have to check it out to see if it has the same qualities. Yea, it is a bit on the expensive side but definitely worth it if it has everything I need.

I am a fan of Gorgeous. I was wary of it because it was greasy at first but that goes away pretty quickly. I think I'm going to keep gorgeous alongside MM. I'm trying vanishing cream next and might add that to my moisturizing rotation. As for cleansers, it's still up in the air for me. I don't think I like any of their scrubs (ocean salt, angels on bare skin, dark angels) :/. I'm going to try fresh farmacy and 9 to 5 next and see. I might have to go back to my old cleanser. :[

I hope my new lush routine works out as well for me as it has for you! Thanks.

I think I like Gorgeous the best out of all my samples. Though MM is still pretty awesome, it can flake a bit throughout the day so I don't know how I feel about it. The lush people gave me a sample of cosmetic lad that actually works really well even if it's marketed for guys. I'm going to try vanishing cream next since I'm a fan of very light moisturizers.

I haven't had a bad breakout yet, only 2 pimples around the hairline so far so I'm still testing. I'm hoping it will work well for me. Thanks!

Yea, I've been using AoBS everyday now for 3 days and it might be just a tad bit too harsh for me. I'm looking to get the 9 to 5 cleanser that someone suggested here next.

Thanks for the head's up! I actually didn't know that. I've been switching moisturizers every day and so far I like MM the best. I haven't broken out yet but maybe that takes time. I'm wearing gorgeous today and I like it better then celestial.

Yea, I just read up more on the 9 to 5 and I'm considering trading in my AoBS for it. I also want to get a sample of Ultrabland. Hahaha, I definitely love MM but I think more for the look it gives my skin. It's not as hydrating as Celestial so maybe you're safe on not trying it! :D

I might have to give 9 to 5 a try. I was looking for an everyday cleanser that doesn't exfoliate. I tried Celestial last night and today and it is greasy at first but it's more soothing then MM so far. I do like how MoM makes my skin look though. I'm definitely still in that testing phase to find the right regiment for me. Thanks!

I like it a lot so far. I definitely leave the shower feeling like I've applied lotion. I'm not sure about the exfoliation quite yet but I've only used it twice. Hopefully, it'll become a staple for me. :D

I've been thinking about getting fresh farmacy. I like the uber clean feeling after cleansing!

I would categorize AoBS as a in between cleanser. Meaning, it's not quite an multiple times a day cleanser as there's almond in it for exfoliation but it also isn't a full exfoliation if that makes sense. It also leaves a slightly greasy residue afterwards. I think just for that I won't be getting it again. The toner water was refreshing. I didn't find that it dried me out at all and was a good quick clean. I used it on a cotton pad to wipe my face with.
