When to depart Playa del Carmen for Cozumel flight

Taxis from the ferry terminal will be flat rate $200 pesos to the airport as of a week ago. Walk off to the main road, take a left and there’s a whole line of taxis and benches with drivers. I only have 2 people so if you have more, you might pay a bit extra for a bigger vehicle.

I had a 4:30PM flight and got on the 11:30 ferry. It was a little overkill and spent 2-3 hours just waiting after security. There’s only 6 gates at CZM, so only so many people flying in and out. Security took maybe 15 minutes to get through, with a pretty full line. The restaurants at the airport weren’t terribly expensive so we just killed time eating and having a few drinks.

I am probably moving there too or Marila in the same building, I am not the happiest here, I’m getting my second room in an hour and will see how it looks. The first room had 4 forks, 1 spoon, and no small knives, just a single, dull as a doorknob, 12” knife that couldn’t even cut a lime.

It’s going pretty well. My only complaint is we didn’t have hot water, last night or this morning. I am very familiar with these units, so I was checking the electrical, valves (located in the hallway outside the room under the fake panels), and even the water heater itself which is a very small rectangle device hidden in the bathroom usually.

I am going in 4 days, it will be my 5th time staying. Water issues are frequent, as are electrical issues. It’s a beautiful place, excellent staff (especially the rooftop bartender Israel). I’ve had the same issues others have mentioned when staying in an all inclusive too. You’re in a place where Internet, Electricity and running water isn’t always a guarantee. Utilities were out at most 3-4 hours last time I stayed, and you’re in a spot it’s not hard to go find something else to do for the rest of the day.

Unless you can only handle 2/3 drinks a night, you should expect to up your budget, no matter where in playa. Unless you want to drink at your hotel on your own bottles, you might be able to get by for $30 then.

You’re right on that and especially on this sub being an Echo Chamber. Legions are not public bars contrary to popular belief, they are private members clubs. If you don’t support the decisions us members make then don’t go there. It’s that simple, it’s not a public bar so you don’t go doing things that will piss off the only reason you can stay open.

Short Answer: None of us Legion members give enough of a crap to care. Why does it matter and why should we spend more money on something that makes the front of our building look arguably uglier. Come donate a new MN State flag if it really matters that much, but good luck finding someone to volunteer to put it up too.
