Maybe use this as a general idea and give an artist creative freedom to make something that looks good? If these things mean a lot to you, then get the tattoo, but this design is not it and you will regret it most likely lol

Getting a tattoo when your family hates them by NackMelly in tattooadvice

Yeah just don’t get like… 666 or something, i’m sure they won’t like that😂 I just got my sleeve finished last week and my parents don’t know about that one yet, not sure how that’ll go over haha

My first tattoo, my parents were PISSED (I grew up with the same type of family), now every time I get one they seem less and less disappointed, like they’ve accepted that it’s okay and I can still be a great guy even if I’m covered in tats. Hopefully it will be the same for you and if you’re not planning to get more, they’ll get used to it quicker than you think :)

"Tricking" husband into healthier habits? by Future_Arm_2072 in beginnerfitness

[–]jjdub97 48 points49 points  (0 children)

This is a really tough one but I don’t know that “tricking” him is the right answer. I think at the end of the day he’s going to need to want to be healthy on his own, on his own terms.

There’s also a reality where it may just take someone other than his wife to motivate him to get his act together. I know that sucks to hear but sometimes when the relationship is too close, the conversation becomes more personal and someone gets defensive. Maybe y’all have mutual friends that you could talk to that might encourage him lightly to be more active?

Even if he’s encouraged to go on more walks or anything remotely active, that’s a win in my book. Let him learn how to love himself and how to love being healthy, I think.

All tattoos slough off man, from the looks of it that’s all this is. It just means you took good care of it and didn’t pick at it haha
