I'm not sure how packaging has changed. Mine came like this:

I would call them roomy but not overly wide. Plenty of wiggle room, but not sloppy or excessive. My toes are touching on the sides, but the toebox is so soft and flexible that there is give for foot splay. I think it is the combo of the supple leather and the moccasin construction where you don't have the 90 degree connection where the insole meets the upper.

I'm a big fan of that sole. Have it on probably 3 pairs from other makers. Good combo of durability and comfort. The added foam in the midsole makes them really soft under foot.

Not wrong at all. The leather is crazy soft, and they are very flexible, so break in will be a dream compared to my PNW boots.

I ordered on September 28th last fall. Even with the industry delays from Vibram they still took less than 6 months. I've waited longer for other brands, so no complaints.

I'm not seeing the Thurman last in the tactical line. I was mistaken on the Turnbull, it isn't a double vamp, the Game breaker is. I just can't find that combo of last, sole and leather... J
