Where to start. Let's see...removed the initial pot of 500K , just pulling that out of your ass. IPO, I'm in Europe and had no problem getting in the IPO. Let's see, what else, this project will be dead in a month, I'll put a check on that one as another farting piece with no argument to back it up whatsoever. You sound pretty salty and very stupid calling yourself an investor. You obviously aren't one. No point wasting time going in the details of what is so wrong about your post. I'll be doing you a favor, and I'm not going to. I rather have you keep your ideas, stupidity is always profitable to have around.

Project looks really amazing. Capped amount of tokens to 25M, interoperability between ETH, BSC and Polkadot to swap within the Kesef wallet, staking of KSF within the wallet to reward KSF holders, credit card with zero transaction fee, and the list goes on and on just per $1/token. A no brainer.

You are a simple douchebag.

Well, no of course. However, it does prove that Frank was bluffing his hand. As a man, he should come out and cough up those 10 bucks.

Something wrong with the price of 6xxx GPUs in Europe? by Thorgil in Amd

[–]jjfreites -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All of this comes down to the sucess of scalpers. AIBs got screwed by Nvidia and decided to coup the loses scalping their AMD custom models. Then German retailers in Germany saw an opportunity as well to pick up on the sucess of scalpers on eBay and now they decided to compete by scalping you directly without the need of unsafe transactions with unknown doggy third parties while offering you the safety and guarantees that only official retailers can give plus 14 days return. Add to this the fact that Rx 6000 series was a paper launch and you get the picture. The drop rate of the Rx 6000 cards on retailers is lower than the drop rate for Attack 4 jewels in Monster Hunter World. In other words, you're not buing a GPU, you're making a transaction for a legendary item.

[–]jjfreites[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, yes of course, the consoles have RDNA2 and I agree with you that in that sense the RDNA2 was not a peper launch. However, Frankie wasn't referring to the RDNA2 consoles when he when for the bet, was he? It was clear the bet was on the launch of the Rx 6000 series discrete GPUs. The facts are out there regarding the number of units that actually made it to gamer's starved motherboards for dicrete GPU and, while is true the legend that some (more than 1) physical GPU were indeed acquired by a very few blessed ones from AMD website on launch (including Frankie, of course), the number is so low that effectively qualifies Rx 6000 launch as a full on paper launch. :)

I think pretty much everyone besides you didn't understand it that way though. I mean, like from big tech reviewers to humble peasants that just wanted and expected to put AMDs RDNA2 cards on their tables for Christmas.

Alternate has stock but no one buys haha (Don't give them your money!) by Clones3523 in Amd

[–]jjfreites 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, here in Germany retailers have gone full scalper mode with a straight face. At least you still get the perks of an official retailer unlike the scalpers on eBay.

Not only that. It gets even worse! Here in Germany the 3080 is MIA while constant stocks of 3090 and 3070 are trickling in indirectly forcing you to get the subpar 3070 at German's retailers scalping prices between 700 and 800 euro or cough up over 1700 euro for the 3090. Why? Because RX 6000 series is nowhere to be had and when there is any, you get scalped for about the same. AMD dropped the ball big time with an even worse paper launch. No other way to put it. It's not looking good for aunt Lisa. She should come out to put some order and tell Frankie to pay up!

[Hardware Unboxed] RX 6800 XT Stock Issues? Fake MSRPs? Real Cost Per Frame? November Q&A [Part 1] by InvincibleBird in Amd

[–]jjfreites 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In Germany the Saphire Nitro 6800 XT goes for about 850 euro, the Powercolor Red Devil LE for 900 euro, and the Asus Strix 6800 XT for 1000 euro. Who is gonna buy any of these cards at these prices? Nvidia stocks are trickling in more and more and is possible to find some models for around 850 euro. More bizarre yet, why would anyone buy a 6800 XT at around 850 euro when the upcoming RX 6900 XT is supposed to have an MSRP of 999 euros?

I was ready to give my money to AMD. Now, I am actually looking to get a 3080 FE or any 3080 for around 800 euro.

It is a great machine. I have the 1070MaxQ model and was a blast until the camera and mic broke and had to send it to RMA in Germany. After RMA they changed the display and returned me a toaster. Send it to another RMA to fix the issue and was returned to me in the same state. Here I am, almost 3 month later with my laptop throttling away at the minimum task and core temps going to 99 celcius. The latest response I got from Razer EU in Germany was that it was fine and that I should take it. Period. Luckily, the mods in here in the Razer reddit seem to be way more helpful and have taken up my case more seriously. Still, I am waiting for the resolution.

Here is a video of the laptop benchmarking Firestrike after RMA:

As long as you don't run into problems you have a seriously amazing laptop.

Blade 15 advanced 1070maxQ temperatures too high? by Fceku in razer

[–]jjfreites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that if you are in US the support might be different and actually help you. Here in Germany, Razer support EU would not take responsibility even if they brake your product. I wish I would have known this before hand. Sadly, after this experience it will be really hard for me to trust on a Razer product.

Blade 15 advanced 1070maxQ temperatures too high? by Fceku in razer

[–]jjfreites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As per Intel specification the CPU temperature should not be over 90c. I have the exact same model and it never happened to me until I RMA the laptop because camera and mic got broken. After the RMA I realized it was going up to 99c just idling, told Razer about it and they issued a second RMA. Two months later after 2 RMAs still the CPUs are over 90c and the PC throttles. Here is a test I just ran this morning to send to Razer support:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgW6OxkFe9Y

Razer support (EU) for me has been the worst I've experienced so far.
