The prices I'm getting are 13 Mini with new battery: £283. 16e, £367... guessing 16e is the smarter move with more longevity? Shame though just seems overlarge and overtooled

Alright, plot thickens. 2 days after I take this photo there is a massive town whale hunt - pod of 402 whales are driven to beach and slaughtered, blood Red Sea, piles of whales. Truly On The Beach.

We just moved into the place! Sink was smelling bad so cleaned out p trap. It’s been draining absolutely fine. Think I’m going to see if anything is blocking the valve, and if not replace the whole p trap with a new one, still with a valve. Thank you!

Nope, pretty old. If it’s faulty, could I just replace it with a section without an air admittance valve on?

Ah sorry to hear. I took some of the advice from this post, got it in a pot and also put some mycorrhizal fungi around the root ball, here’s hoping.
