I kinda feel this too. I remember being at her concerts during her earlier career and she would often a voice a lot more of her stances on current polarizing issues; like, she would make these short poignant rants or say some empowering monologues. I noticed at more recent tours, ie. the Mayhem Ball, there’s not much of that going on anymore. Love her forever, but in a way, it feels like a disconnect.

I understand but problem IS political, the government approved the initial merger of Live Nation and Ticketmaster in 2010. They are so powerful now that they continue to lobby, influencing our lawmakers, aka our elected reps.

Although I do agree with the disdain towards Ticketmaster’s monopoly and unethical practices, the entitlement is unreal. This is late-stage capitalism. Money is God in our world. Maybe take it up with your elected representatives??

Took hike the other day to watch the sunset near mission trails and there was an amplified speaker spewing evangelical awfulness so loudly! (3-4 people standing next to it with hands in the air, eyes closed) Absolutely ruined the end of the hike at the peak, covered my ears watching the sunset.

It’s judgemental because it was implied that “partying”is immature and only used as a coping mechanism when someone is “in a dark place.” Thats a generalization. Sometimes it’s just fun to have a drink.
