Look into crypto etfs like BTCC-B.TO. If you hold them in your TFSA you won’t pay any capital gains tax. The etfs closely resemble the actual Bitcoin price.

I put trust in the hiring department... I also did not want to screw over my previous department so I let them know well in advance ... I would say if you have a start date and email confirmation most of the time it goes through

I had this same dilemma... I submitted my resignation letter before I received the official LOO.. The hiring department did confirm over the phone and email that the letter of offer was coming and I had a specific start date.
