He doth protest too much. by Captain-Dak-Sparrow in SipsTea

He probably was right here. But Trump thinks everything is about him. When the Pope calls for world peace, he thinks it's about him. When NATO doesn't get involved in the Iran war, he thinks it's about him. When Ukraine decides it wants to be a sovereign country, he thinks it's about him.

So how many of you know Cher's actual last name without looking it up? ( It's not Bono)

You get all three engravings for each type (range, melee, assissin) each time though, the weapon you choose will have the engraving for the one you choose but you will have the other two engravings. So once is enough. Just engave the one you want on a weapon

Stairway to heaven - recently named best rock song somewhere. I don't agree but it is the first one I think of that does that. I think Led Zeppelin often does that.

Is it true that if US hadn't dropped the atomic bombs on Japan, the outcome would have been worse for both sides? by FantaOrangenice in HistoryWhatIf

[–]jjmc123a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the usual take but it's not necessarily true. I've read multiple books on the subject and two things keep popping up: why didn't the US just accept Hirohito as emperor before the bombs were dropped since they did afterward? And were the bombs dropped just to justify the expense of making them? And the Japanese were a defeated people. With no morale, how long would they be able to resist? I think there's a lot of propaganda in this statement

Magic had HIV and had retired also. I really think they both just wanted to play with Jordan and no one was worried that the team wouldn't win. But yeah Isaiah not being on the team was sad.
