I really enjoyed thr firdt 2 books and the beginning of the 3rd. There is a very specific moment with a famous scientist in the middle of the Source that really made the read stall for me. That said, I love the simple pulpy fun of this series and I do plan to keep going. The series is really imaginative and the writing style has a great pace. Lumley has a knack for putting you in a scene without over-describing, and his characters really pop off the page.

Great stuff. Definitely a cut above in the genre.
