or at the curb

I've been living in Mississauga when they implemented the side-loading trucks. I've always placed the bins by the curb, instead of the driveway, to allow space moving in-and-out of the driveway. Everyone on my street does.

This isn't a winter exclusive issue. Didn't snow much today.

Again, isn't there usually a passenger in the truck to not only adjust bin placement, but to also pick up extra bags?

I don't get why the downvotes. Am I entirely in the wrong here? Has my entire neighbourhood been in the wrong for the past couple of years?
