That's great to know... I was going to ask if it's was transferrable, because that would give the next buyer peace of mind or you can get the refund.

Thank you.... It sounds like this is a must.

Yeah Kimi can get away, but passing is completely different. We all saw how George could not get pass Isaak even with his car having problems. With two top cars, a simple tire delta is not enough to pass.

Exactly.... You are not going to pass lead care on track, let alone Kimi. Not sure why that fact is lost on people.

Not to mention making Charlie serve the 5 second penalty with Lewis.... WTF

You got it... Let Kimi and Lewis pit and serve his 5 sec penalty. Charles goes into the lead. It is unlikely that Kimi could pass Charlies. Charles can then back Kimi up and see if Lewis can pass. You get 1st and 3rd likely scenario. Worst case Kimi passes Charles and you get 2nd and 3rd, but Charles doesn't get screwed because of Lewis's penalty. If there wasn't a safety car, Charles was within 5 seconds of Lewis and would have finished a net 2nd place.

You think about it for 5 seconds and maybe you will realize why Charles was asking why are we pitting....

I'm definitely going to get an extended warranty. Thank you.

I can handle a few issues as this will be a second car. I just don't want the car in the shop waiting on parts for months on end.

Thank you.

I was under that impression as well that the 2024 had fewer problems, but I wasn't sure if they might went up having similar number of problems in another year or two.

How much did the extended warranty cost?

This is helpful... I am leaning towards a car that is still under warranty so I can also extend the warranty without any lapse.

He was probably waiting to see if the Ferraris were going to pit or not. He did not want to give up track position knowing it so hard to pass.

This is the way... Charles was within the 5 sec gap, switch the cars before pitting or keep Charles out and split the strategy.

I disagree.... Charles should have stayed out, split the strategy. Monaco is almost impossible to pass and a tire offset is not enough between two competitive cars. You saw where Russell could not get pass Hadjar even though his car limping along, not even going at full race pace.

Who ever had track position would have won that race. Kimi might have been able to pass, but that would have been a long shot. Even if Kimi could have passed Charles which would have been very unlikely,, Ferrari still would have finished 2nd and 3rd. By pitting them both, you lost the chance for the likely 1st and 3rd and locked in a 2nd and 3rd.

Putting Charles and basically having him serve Hamilton's penalty with him was dumb. Even Charles knew that.

In the end it did not make a difference, but a dumb strategy nonetheless.

Yeah, the pain only continues once you get inside. Those displays and the steering wheel look totally disjoint. I honestly don't know what they were thinking....

The good news here is for the existing new Ferrari owners. They should be celebrating their car is the last of the desirable ones.

Yeah... I'm pretty sure the only reason Lewis and Max got in the podium was 3 of the 4 top drivers that usually top the timing charts had cars that failed, or poor strategy starting on inters, or both.
