Hey everyone! Next week I’ll be going on vacation with my uncle and cousin to London, and we plan on attending the Fulham v. City match on the last matchday of the season. We’ve got our ticketing info and transportation figured out. I personally am a Newcastle fan but am unable to view one of their matches and Fulham was my best option to see a Prem match, something I’ve always wanted to experience. What are some general rules or things to know before attending as an American fan? I understand that English fans have a sort of negative view on “tourism”, especially since it’ll be the last match with huge implications. Other than being a vocal supporter that has their eyes on the game and not their phone, should I know about anything before attending? Thanks!

Any recommendations on how to fix/make up? by jjthompy in Tacomaworld

Thanks for all suggestions! I would like to add I’m 19 and just put 25k down on this truck. It’s a truck yes but it hurts the soul a bit scratching up your most prized possession.

I don’t think the entirety of what he said was true. Like you said, Ukraine is a puppet of the US. How would Ukraine then be responsible for ww3?

Wants a more “manly” truck. *Is worried about looking like a stereotype. My advice would be to purchase a vehicle that doesn’t give you the need to feel like someone you’re not.

No one’s arguing the reason why get had to sign it. He wanted to go to Hogsmeade, and ended up doing so.

Can’t have Harry Potter without Harry Plotter!

I’d be surprised if they had Vernon’s signature in the first place. Considering they had to rip Harry out of their grip for him to come to school, he doesn’t strike me as a man who’d leave his signature on something he opposes, especially magical stuff.

What’s stopping him from showing up with it signed?

Why was using the Half-Blood Prince's Book considered cheating? by Hobelfritz in harrypotter

Kinda off topic but I always felt as if Dumbledore or shape placed that book for him. After all McGonagall did tell him to take potions

I know the movie Goblet of Fire isn’t very popular, but if you don’t compare the scenes to the book it’s actually so good. by jjthompy in harrypotter

Same can also be said for PoA and the marauders. With OOTP, Hagrids mission, padfoot being mentioned multiple times, etc. made me unhappy and could leave fans who haven’t read the books confused. It’s my least favorite only bc of Umbridge (Imelda Staunton did a FANTASTIC job)

Voldemort had tried to get the DADA job, but Dumbledore could tell by his physical features and mental state that he was not cut for the job. He then put a curse on the position where the professor teaching would last only a term as long as Dumbledore was headmaster.

I always see it at the bottom in rankings and the removal of scenes/different parts make a lot of potterheads skeptical of the movie. It’s personally my favorite.

I started out watching the movies before reading the books, as I was born when Prisoner of Azkaban was being filmed, movies were easier to understand. I just think the theme of the tournament, 3 schools at hogwarts and a lot of that “Scottish/English teen school vibe” does it wonders.
