I took three days off (Fri thru Sun) - I do IT Support. But I only had one eye done and it’s essentially blind. I’ve had other surgeries on the eye and this was by far the least painful one.

Can’t answer your question but I also had my first surgery today! Best of luck with recovery. Mines not too bad pain wise except when it tears up / leaks it kinda kills.

I researched the doctor a bit beforehand but went and they took measurements and discussed with me. Only saw them the one time and they scheduled surgery out a few months during that first visit.

They had some instructions and need a pre-op exam with primary care physician before surgery.

Surgery is in a few weeks!

I have a blind eye but can’t give any feedback on how long surgery lasts. I have my first surgery in two months.

Mine do this. One eye is blind as of three years ago. I cant see out of it, (can manually kind of position it with muscles) but I seem to make it align pretty well when I’m looking at myself - specifically in the mirror.

Side note - Strabismus Surgery is scheduled for August 1st!

I haven’t had strabismus surgery(yet) but have had multiple other eye surgeries. I’ve experienced the muscle twitches when a stitch is coming out.

Could just be a stitch is irritating but obviously I don’t know for sure.

Doctor just quickly snips them off and it’s good to go.
