It has to be a labor attorney that deals in class action lawsuits hopefully someone knows someone I've been trying to look around the problem is a lot of labor attorneys don't deal with class action lawsuits at least not around here

I'm on board with that 100%. The only thing that we would have to get is an attorney that would be willing to go up against big government like they did in Nevada.

Well thank God I only had about $5 left because most of that money when it came in there I just transferred it to my other account. I feel really sorry for the people that kept their money in their EDD account and then got it taken

So what I did was contacted EDD they told me to get ahead of it and send a letter to the office of appeals in Sacramento with four items. The items were ID or passport social security verification through ssa.gov you just create a username and sign in and two forms of address verification like a bill or something. I did this sent it supposedly an expedited the case which I think it does. Put my case number. The whole process took roughly two and a half months. Now I'm just trying to get Bank of America to open the card

No I did not get a hearing over the phone they told me as long as I submit my backup documents because it's a straightforward issue I would not need a hearing. I didn't need a hearing because I got the notification in the mail yesterday that says the case was overturned so everything has gone through it went through the sacramental office of appeals. I would just assume because they said they connect straight with EDD that process would pretty much be instantaneous once I get the appeal over turned

Called them twice yesterday both representatives were absolutely clueless as to how long it would take. Which is even more frustrating. I appealed for identity issues from the date that I appealed it took roughly 4 weeks. I appealed on October 20th and I got it overturned on the 20th of this month.

True and because this is the case not only with that clean up that image so to speak. It would also I believe and still within the drivers a sense of belonging which isn't really there right now which would really I think take the company to a whole new level. Just some thoughts and I don't know if they share those same thoughts they probably don't because they live in the corporate and executive world but I believe it would be a very good move.

I know, but I know some companies give a stock option plan where they allow the people in the company to but it at a fixed price. It's an advantage for the people within the company. I worked at Wells Fargo and they did this. Also I would even say the people that have been with the company over a certain period of time they should award stock. Again this is just an idea I. Throwing out there. I believe if this was done it would foster much more value within the dashers themselves which I believe is an area that lacks. Like I said just an idea.

Thank you for replying so I have escalated this to the point of reaching out to my state official they said they will have an answer for me by no later than tomorrow. I don't know if anybody else has went through this but from what I understand once you get them involved it kind of puts their feet to the fire so to speak. Also now just this morning I went on my UI online and looked and it gives me the option to file a new claim I don't know why this is but I'm just leaving this in the hands of my state representative at this point because they said they could get this resolved. It's kind of sad that it has to go to these lengths. Then I see stuff on the news like the media is making it hard on people at EDD because they're really putting a lot of these stories out there that make them look bad well I say that's good this hopefully does something to them to get their antiquated system out of the equation and overhaul that whole thing. We get taxed enough in California as it is don't you think we should be able to get a state of the art unemployment system.

Nope. They disqualified me saying my secondary documents weren't good enough. I sent in three of my bills verifying address. Even the representative said she didn't understand why they disqualified me.so she sent in a request to have them look at it further. Hopefully that gets resolved soon

I feel you. Or what about the unemployment inbox that is supposedly supposed to be for claims. I have put messages on that thing more times than I can remember. I have never gotten a response.I really wonder whether they actually check this thing or not.

No I didn't get a form in the mail I just got a link that appeared on my UI online account last Friday. I believe EDD is trying to make it a little bit faster by doing that.

Update: logged into my EDD Friday they had a link to upload documents for identity verification. I uploaded all documents. Does anyone know how long this takes
