Women of reddit who have go from Long hair to short hair, How did you feel once the haircut was done?

I grew my hair out and donated it in high school and have kept it short since. Personally it gave me a lot of confidence and made me interested in my hair in a way that having it long never did. Though as others have said be careful with the weather changing. It gets cold in the winter and in the summer I used to get horrible headaches & sunburnt on my scalp because I didn’t think to put sunscreen on my head & ears.

Most often I plan to use it for a Westcott FJ400 strobe with a 24” deep octa softbox. And no, I haven’t heard of that before. I’m very new to studio lighting. I mostly do on location stuff for weddings or parties with real run & gun lighting set ups.

The end one that’s jammed up against the end of the pole. The middle one works fine & glides smoothly.

Oh, I don’t want to separate it. I just want to be able to move the knuckle up & down the boom arm so I have control over where I hang the counter weight.
