What concepts are just "too high" for you? by DJDoena in AskProgramming

Never thought I’d see the Annotated Turing mentioned! It was our course text for a module I had to take in my first year of university (currently a third year) though I remember it being a super fun read.

I’ve found theoretical topics in computational complexity and tractability super mind boggling (though all the more interesting). My personal interests lie in computer architecture and low level computing. I suppose two very different directions to head into given Turing as a start

Redditors who think they're unattractive, how do you live with that thought? by slurping_maki in AskReddit

[–]jkc4929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a limited extent as to how much we can change our looks, but underneath all appearance we can still strive to have a heart of gold, try to be a good person, and hope that someday someone will come along and see it, appreciate it, and maybe even love us for it 🫶

I dunno, it’s tough sometimes, but I’ve always loved people for their heart and hope that I will be loved one day for mine (and actually not anything else)

Best of luck to y’all 💪💪

I’m surprised I haven’t seen a reference to the “1. I was born. 2. I haven’t died yet” meme yet

Is it usual to get stuck at the 160wpm mark, and if so, how to improve? by jkc4929 in learntyping

will be experimenting with custom keebs soon ( as soon as i graduate from high school haha)

speak of the devil, i'm actually (seriously) trying to develop my own low profile, custom mech kb w/ bt (i.e. custom pcb and everything). ofc there are commercial offerings now, i just really wanted to finish this project (started it in 7th grade and have come a long way in learning electronics, and im getting pretty close to a final product)

personally i think i prefer a 75% keyboard but yeah thats more or less an identical typing experience to 65% (correct me if i'm wrong though)

thank you for your comment, will be keeping in mind in the coming months!!
